Vyta helps older adults get help at home and rides to where they need to be. I built across web and mobile — booking, scheduling, up-front service estimates and reminders — in a category where trust and clarity matter far more than flash.

Trust is the product

For an older-adult audience and the families looking out for them, the win is confidence, not cleverness. People arrive with a real need and a low tolerance for friction — they want to understand what will happen, what it costs, and when. Anything that feels uncertain or hard to read erodes the one thing the product is actually selling: trust.

So every screen is built to be reassuring before it is impressive. The flows are plain, the language is direct, and the moments that matter most — what you are booking, what it will cost, and when to expect it — are stated up front rather than discovered along the way.

Key decisions

Clarity over cleverness

Plain booking, a service estimate shown before you commit, and reminders — designed to be usable one-handed and stress-free. Nothing hides behind a clever interaction; the obvious path is the right path.

One system, web and mobile

Shared logic so scheduling and care details stay consistent wherever you are. The trade-off was more careful shared-state design up front — but it means a booking made on the web reads exactly the same on the phone.

Privacy-aware by default

Personal and health-adjacent data is handled with a careful, privacy-conscious posture — a privacy-aware, HIPAA-conscious approach to how information is collected, shown and stored, rather than an afterthought bolted on later.

What was built

Booking and scheduling, service estimates, and reminders and account flows — delivered across a web app and a mobile app from one shared foundation, so the experience stays consistent on every device.
